Located in Portland’s vibrant Hawthorne neighborhood, Witching Hour Tattoo is more than a tattoo studio—it’s also a thoughtfully curated fine art gallery. Co-founded by artists Ashton Allen and Rachel Gilbert (Inkstress), the gallery space showcases rotating exhibitions from local and visiting artists, including photography, illustration, and mixed media. Recent shows have featured works by artists such as Shannon Wheeler and Tom Healy, underscoring the studio’s commitment to supporting diverse creative voices. By blending tattooing with traditional gallery culture, Witching Hour offers a space where visual storytelling thrives both on skin and on canvas.
