Exhibition Overview:

“WRITER’S BLOCK” is a group lettering exhibition focusing on the many different facets of the typographical arts. From Graffiti and Sign Painting to type designers, tattooers, and sculptors the show aims to highlight an often under-appreciated community of artists in all it’s various forms.

Writer’s block is a term meant to explain a writer’s inability to create. In this case, it’s used facetiously to convey the opposite. The goal of this show is to point out the massive amount of lettering and inspiration surrounding us on a daily basis.

The big Grand Opening Event is Friday August 1st, but works will stay on display in the Witching Hour gallery until September 30th.

Theme:

A collection of 35+ worldwide artists featuring an astounding variety of works, all featuring lettering/text/signage.

Mediums:

Everything you can imagine! There will be risograph, letterpress, oils, acrylics, pen & ink, neon, spray paint, and much more….
